Board game battle
Quelf vs dicecapades vs curses
Hello dear readers, Today we are comparing three board games the make its participants do ridiculous things. What a better day to do it than on a rainy day in June. (at least where I am it is .) Our contestants this week are Quelf, dicecapades, and curses. These three games function on the fact that you be doing something ridiculous and it also keeps the players somewhat physical something not all board games do. So without further ado let the games begin.
Lets start with curses the easiest to learn. Curses is mostly card based the game comes with two decks of cards a challenge deck and curses deck. Each player does a challenge card (all you have to do is try) and then you get a curse card to give to someone. That player must do what says on the card for rest of the game. If they slip up just once that curse card flips over. The curse cards tend to build so if you fail on three curses then your out but you can still call people on not doing curses. The last person standing is the winner. It is decent and fun game but once you play for the first time your friends may not want to play it again.
Next up is quelf this game is purely ridiculous. There are 5 categories of cards you can get roolz which can affect you or everyone else, quizzle which is trivia
Stuntz in which you have to perform non dangerous stunts, scatterbrainz which is scattergories and showbiz in which you have to perform something. This game get pretty ridiculous at times. In order to stay where you are you have to the card but the penalty is not that bad. This leaves the option to opt out which many do.
Lastly there is dicecapades oh gosh dicecapades. Have you ever wanted to sacrifice you self up to the random number god this is your game then. The card dictate every you have to something physical, draw something, write words down, and answer trivia. It is by no mean fun. I can’t remembr which game it was but oone my friend had to put ice in her underwear until she rolled six what demented person did that. Dicapades aint for everybody that is one thing you can be sure of.
So which of three win well dicecapades never had chance since I already threw the game to th wayside taking the dice with me (they useful for other games the only positive thing I can say about the game). I think I like curse the most it is a game that will make you curse the games name and many other explatives while playing. Next time is going to be a long one a I ask why board and card games are still around as well as if they are important to society. Until then if you get bored pick up a game.
